But where's the alpha
There's two ways you can get
Omega Red right now, this release or the Wolverine 5-pack release. The differences are mainly cosmetic, the other one looks closer to how he does in the Capcom game, this one looks closer to his initial appearances. I would've preferred the other one, but this one's way cheaper and way easier to find!
The guy looks great, and from what I can tell, he
debut this buck, which would then be used with Venom and Sabretooth v2. His straps and pauldrons hang loose over his body, which is OK, but I think if they were sculpted in it'd be much better, so that the plastic straps wouldn't warp. The guy looks enormous, dangerous and powerful. I also love his tentacles, they are fairly long, and while they can't hold a character in the air, with
stands you can have some cool posing.
Articulation wise, he can do everything the Bucky Cap buck can with the addition of butterfly-joints in his shoulders for extra range. For such a large guy, you sure can get a ton of poses out of him.
Omega Red is a fantastic figure, and a great villain to place in any Marvel display.
