Because Marvel just can't help but milk ideas, it's time to milk the 'Superior' brand.
Superior Spider-Man was a surprise hit for Marvel after they had damaged Spider-Man sales with the trash that was One More Day, so they had to capitalize on it WHILE maintaining Spider-Man's status quo, hence, Doc Ock returned as Superior Octopus. What if you crossed a Spider with an Octopus? You get this guy. I love his grey, black and green color scheme, and I like the rest of his unique elements, such as the green goggles and his gauntlets. In particular his gauntlets, his open hand lends itself to a lot of grandiose poses for the guy. He also comes with a backpack that you can remove, and you can attach tentacles to it if you wish.
He's got a curious articulation for an Spider-Man figure, because he has all the basics, including butterfly joints and a ball jointed ab crunch... but nothing on his waist, not a ball joint, no a swivel. Curious, to say the least.
I think Superior Octopus is another fantastic Spider-Man figure, he looks really cool and evidently evil, so he makes for a fun rival to any other Spidey figure.
