Attack of the body-snatcher!
I always liked
Betty Bradock's story as
Psylocke, because Pyslocke isn't Betty's real body, it was Kwannon's, but due to comic book shenanigans they swapped bodies. And this was her reality for over 20 years, until some hack writer decided to do away with this bit of
nuance that made her such an interesting character!
This figure is a fantastic modern take on classic Psylocke. Y'see, her wrappings are
symmetrical and her and her hair flows loose on her back, rather than wearing a ponytail. She looks great, and she also comes with translucent pink effects and weaponry that make her look
EVEN cooler.
A bit more articulation on this ninja female would've been amazing, but what she's got gets the job done.
Am I happy with this Psylocke? Sure, but as a ninja... C'mon, Hasbro, she needs butterfly joints and a better ab crunch! Use the new female buck and rerelease her!
