Action Figure #303: Marvel Legends Maverick

Ah, yes, 90's X-men cheese, my favorite.

Another character from the big pouches, bigger guns era of comic books, Maverick. I never knew too much about the guy, but I owned an older action figure of him, and I was always mystified about him, since he only appeared in a couple of episodes of X-Men TAS with Wolvie.
This guy is built like a truck, but the muscles are just for show, he shoots, he shoots a lot. There's plenty of new sculpting done for him alone, thanks to his armor, and he honestly looks really good. Most of his armor is painted in gold, with a few bits in silver, and it doesn't look as oud as you'd think because they chose appropriate hues for all his colors. I think that, despise how 90's cheese he looks, it's still a good looking figure.
Articulation wise, he is similar to Bucky Cap, but he has no waist swivel and depends on a ball-jointed torso... that he can barely use because he has so many straps keeping his chest in place! So don't count on it. He is quite a bit taller than Bucky Cap.
Maverick is a decent figure for any 90's X-Men display.
