Son of a beach!
Ah, Sandman, how the Status Quo ruined you. During the 80's he became an anti-hero, and it felt like an earned progression for his character... until one idiot decided to Status Quo him back into being a villain in on of the most forced and anti-natural character regressions I've ever seen.I really like how this sculpt came out, he looks really good, but, also generic enough so that you can pass him off as a low-level crime mook. I love how they made his sandy hands removable, so you can play around with how you want him to look. That said, this is one of those figures that have the issue of having arm peg-holes too large for the shoulder pegs, so... you are constantly stressing them when moving the arms. The peg on his right arm actually broke, but my screw fix wasn't successful... no he can only move his arm up and down.
On the articulation side of things... He can move as much as Bucky Cap, while being larger than him. It works well enough for Sandman.
Shoulder peg issue aside... this is a really good Sandman figure.
