You thought Vulcan was convoluted, oh boy...
Remember how Nate Grey is Scott and Jean's son from an alternate future, while Cable is Scott and Madelyne's son that was sent into the future? Stryfe is a clone of Cable. People should get paid for being able to keep track of X-Men's lore. This is another figure with an updated version in the wild, but... I really wanted the sword. The new one is missing the sword, must be bought as part of a five pack but has an arguably better headsculpt. This guy is very large, which is very nice, but something about him just irks me. It feels like his torso is a bit longer than it should? But sometimes I've convinced myself that the loin-cloth, which sadly remain loose on his waist, creates that illusion. His design is pure 90's edge, with spikes and edges everywhere, so make of that what you will. I think he looks great.
Well, on paper he's as articulated as the Bucky Cap mold, however, his pauldrons do limit how high he can lift his arms. His cape is made out of large plastic, but that's actually a bonus, because it helps him hold a few poses he otherwise wouldn't be able to.
I like this guy. Like I said before, his torso seems a bit too large, but it might be the loose loincloth creating an illusion. But, even if it's an illusion... they should've designed the figure better so that it doesn't look as if he was badly proportioned! He's not the X-Men's most well known villain, but if you want your Cyclops family display you can't forget Cable's clone!
