Action Figure #220: Marvel Legends Thanos(Build-a-Figure

Perfectly balanced, as all action figure collections should be.

A few entries ago, I mentioned how shocked I was at living in a world in which Thor of all characters was popular.... but what about Thanos too? Mind you, the Infinity Gauntlet was an iconic Marvel event, but it was still pretty fringe, and Thanos, outside the comic book geeks, was still fairly unknown... and yet, here we are.
This figure is based on Thanos' Annihilation Wave look, which works for me, as I'm very fond of that period of Cosmic Marvel. War of Kings, Guardians of the Galaxy, Annihilation Wave, The Annihilators.... that's my jam, boy! And yeah, he looks great. The yellow armor feels a bit plastic-y, and well, he's torso too, but it's not too bad.
The the articulation is pure dog water. If you want to move his arms in any way, you have to remove the yellow armor from his shoulders, there's no other way for him to lift his arm. And forget about moving his legs anywhere unless you push the yellow skirt upwards... and even then, you only get a tiny bit of range.... but as long as that piece is higher in his body, he can't spin his torso.... so yeah, not much of an action figure, now is it?
This is Thanos, and his action figure is anything but impressive. The sculpt is nothing special, which kinda sucks when his articulation is so lame.
