Action Figure #80: Anime Heroes Zoro

Is it really Zoro if he can't wield more than two swords at once?

It seems that you just can't get a decent Zoro action figure, because I was thinking about upgrading this guy with the Figuarts release... but he seems to be one of those import figures that just loves to come apart. Well, and it sucks, because Anime Heroes rendition of Zoro... isn't so good either.
Aesthetically, the guy looks the part. This is Zoro through and through, and for a budget line, they got the likeness right.  The swords do get a bit in the way, and they love to fall through... so I glue some of them into his sash. The scabbards don't work as scabbards, so he comes with three sword handles for when he is not wielding his swords. Speaking of his swords, they are super bendy and will warp very easily. I've fixed them before with hot water, but this time I couldn't be bothered, so enjoy Gum Gum Zoro.
What kills this figure is the articulation. He's got no ab crunch, although he gets a ball jointed waist with a bit of range for some poses. The lower part of his robes are made up of two pieces, but they are too long, and too hard to allow any forward or backwards movement of the legs, so at most you'll be able to move them to the sides... outside of his coat, which just doesn't look right. He's the world's stiffest swordsman it seems!
I mean.... even Figuarts failed at it, so making a Zoro figure seems to be a bit of a challenge. Anime Heroes did their best, I think, but it's not enough. He can look pretty decent if you mean to have him stay in standing poses, however.
