Action Figure #44: DC Universe Classics Guardian

By the creator of Captain America comes Yellow Captain America!

Back in the day, I owned a few Superman comics, and this guy, Guardian, appeared in a few of them. It was love at first sight, despite how much I've always disliked the Captain Hypocrite, and it's easy to see why... as he has a lot of yellow in his design!
As per usual, not much to talk about, he uses the standard DCUC buck, and the only unique sculpted detail to him is his helmet, which looks pretty good. His articulation is good, for the line, and pretty smooth, and I love the squeaky yellow they picked for his costume.
He comes with a single accessory, his trusty shield. I don't remember just how large it was supposed to be in the comics, but,,, at least in action figure form, it looks kinda pathetic, doesn't it? It's very small, very thin. I really don't think he can guard much with that tiny shield. He's slightly taller than the Bucky-Cap mold.
Honestly, he is a very basic DCUC action figure. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but unless you've got some nostalgia or love for the character... there's nothing here for you.
