Before the MCU made him all scruffy and angry, meet the original Rocket Raccoon!
Well, talking about
Rocket Raccoon is gonna be interesting, because he is certainly not your average Marvel Legends, in fact, he started off as probably Hasbro's least imposing BAF.
On the one hand, he is a tiny,
tiny toy... on the other hand, just what else could've done with the figure? The sculpting is really nice, he looks great, and even his uniform looks great, so they knocked it out of the park with his sculpt, considering how short he is.
Buuut he doesn't have a lot of articulation. He can move his head on a ball-peg on the neck, he can close and open his mouth, he has a mouth swivel, ball-jointed arms and single-jointed elbows. He has no movement from the waist down. It's....
it's what it is, just as with Drax, there's not much more they could have done with him. He seems to have poor balance, but you can actually move his tail to give him a sort of third prong to stand on.
It may sound like I'm selling him short, but for what he is... he is
great! A great likeness to his comic book counterpart, and probably as much articulation as they could get out of him.
