Action Figure #29: Batman Unlimited Batgirl

She was more iconic as Oracle, what can I say.

As a lover of character development, the reason Nightwing is my favorite super hero, I loved how Batgirl became Oracle, because when Barbara Gordon lost the use of her legs she still did heroics, albeit in a more tactical role. Thanks to that we also got Cassandra as Batgirl, so it was win, win and winning all around. When New 52 brought Barbara back as Batigirl... it was controversial, to say the least.
And alongside the New 52 relaunch, we got a new figure of Barbara. The sculpting on the body is really good, there's a lot of detail everywhere, and the shiny black and gold make the figure look really pretty. That said... her neck and face look weird, man! The neck in particular feels too long.
The articulation could've definitely been a lot better. Her knees can't even bend in a full 90 degree angle which is baffling. And she has absolutely no torso articulation, not even a waist swivel. At least she can move her arms and legs forwards, backwards and to the sides. Her hands are sculpted as if to hold something, but she came with no accessories whatsoever. That said, I like using one of the hands to hold onto her cape, as if she was pushing it behind her, which looks neat. She's on the shorter side, Bucky-Cap is slightly taller than her.
In the end, this Batgirl figure feels like a bit of an after thought. She is a pretty looking figure, until you notice the neck. The articulation too left a lot to be desired.
