Now in green... as he should be.
At first, I was quite content with my White
Doctor Doom. It was his strongest form, and the white looked good on him... but slowly, very slowly, an itch for a classic Dr. Doom started to appear.... but he was too expensive, at least, at first. With this new re-release, I finally had a chance to get my hands on the good ol' doctor.
And he is pretty nice. I think this is the first ML figure to come with a cloth cape, and it really is nothing special, no bendy wire, no special pattern, there's nothing to it, really, but it does
wonders for the articulation, and it doesn't add weight to the figure which could make it harder to stand. He also comes with a doombot head, in case you already had a classic Doom figure and wanted the upgrade.
On the articulation end of things... he is exactly like God Emperor Doom, but the skirt folds are not as soft, so it can be a bit harder to get him on some poses. He is ever so slightly taller than the Bucky Cap buck.
A neat detail, he has two ports on his back for the Iron Man laser effects, to act as a jetpack.
Cool!
If you already own a Doctor Doom figure you don't really need this one... but if you don't? He's great!
