Nothing to do with Mike Tyson, I mean, does he even look like him?
Street Fighter II's big bad boss himself M. Bison comes out early in Wave 2 of Jada toys figures. And, man, this is another fantastic figure from Jada Toys, who seem to be able to do no wrong. This guy is bigger and thicker than Jada's previous SF figures, as he should. This build difference makes him look threatening next to the previous, more heroic, fighters that they released, which is just fantastic. He comes with a wire cape that is not made of cloth, in fact I'm not exactly sure what it's made of, but hey, it's wired, as well as an alternate head, alternate shoulder pads, a firey punch effect and another set of hands... so as per usual, Jada Toys goes the extra mile.
But with Jada, they also knock it out of the park when it comes to articulation. It has everything you'd expect. Bicep and leg swivels, hinged feet and hands, double jointed elbows and knees, butterfly shoulders and ball-jointed waist and ab-crunch. The shoulder-pads are fitted on a piece that can rotate, so even that is articulated! He is slightly taller than Bucky-Cap and the previous Street Fighter figures.
What can I add? What can I tell you? Jada continues to maintain the high bar they set for themselves. At this point I can only hope that Jada will get the license to Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat or some other Fighting game franchise to pair up these guys with!
