Well, there's quite a bit to like here with this figure. He is built on Mattel's newer Multiverse bucks, so he goods a good deal leaner than their DCUC figures. As a mostly black costume, Batman Beyond is simple to pull off, and... well, they did it. He comes with a wing piece that kinda sucks to be honest. Look, I get it, getting the wings to come out of his arms would've been a bit harder to pull off, but, man... the wings are supposed to be black on the outside, not red, and the peg is larger than the slot on Batman's back, so they look a off. The batarangs he comes with are a bit on the thick side, but the worst part about it is that his hand can only hold them by their edges and not their middle parts. He comes with four hands, two open hands, a left fist and a right holding hand, as well as an alternate angry head. At first I was going to have mine with the neutral face... but the pearly-white snarl is something that Terry did all the time on the TV show, so he looks more like himself this way.
The articulation is, well... exactly what you'd expect from the line, so nothing new to add there. And as per usual, he is slightly taller than the Bucky Cap mold.
I've recently learned that Mattel's Multiverse line was a bit... controversial to say the least, but I'm really liking the figures I'm getting. And this Batman Beyond figure is no exception, he is everything I expected to get from him, and I love to pair him up with Bruce, Spider-man and Spider-man 2099.
