Action Figure #117: DC Multiverse Superman

  It's a bird! No, it's a plane! NO! It's an action figure!

 And to complete the DC Trinity I needed a Superman figure, and while it's OK for Wonder Woman to be taller than Superman, I didn't want him to look too short next to her, so the DCUC line wasn't enough, I needed... Rebirth Superman from the Multiverse line!

 The Rebirth outfit is definitely not my favorite. Too much blue and not enough red, but, he is Superman-y enough and his trunks are on the inside, so I'll take it. He's got the standard Multiverse Male buck, as it's not like you can do much sculpting with Supes. His face is something that I kinda don't like, and I'm not sure why. Is it too thin? Is his expression too plain? I don't know, but there's something about it that I just don't like.

 Articulation is, well, what you'd expect out of Mattel's multiverse line. He is not a Batfamily member, so single jointed elbows for him! He's about a head taller than the Bucky-Cap mold.

 I don't really like Rebirth's costume, I don't think so much blue looks all that great, but, he is a good Superman figure. Not amazing, not outstanding, but a good figure non the less. If I was a customizer, I'd try painting him some red boots.

Action Figure #116: Marvel Legends Black Panther(Infinity Saga)

 Cats are better with purple.

 I'm not a huge MCU figure collector because, honestly, I don't care about the MCU, but this Black Panther fig looked rather cool.

 Is it a new mold? Is it not? I have nothing else to compare him to(Or do I?), but I'll tell you this, he looks pretty decent. The figure has a lot of texturing everywhere, which looks nice, and the metallic purple highlights compliment him nicely, although I would've added more of them, My main issue is that his torso is a bit too wide, his arms, in particular, look rather frail in comparison.

 The articulation is really good, it's practically as articulated as Pizza Spidey, butterfly joints on his arms and everything. He can get into a ton of really cool poses, so that the width of his torso isn't as noticeable. He is slightly taller than the Bucky/Cap mold.

 This is a really good figure all-around. He is definitely not a substitute for a comic-book T'Challa though.

Action Figure #115: Dragon Stars Mystic Gohan

  The ultimate rice!

 Of course I'd leave my favorite for last, Mystic Gohan is the final, at the moment, Dragon Stars figure that I own, so as my favorite Dragon Ball character, he gets feature last.

 Y'know, the usual, the figure looks good but the arms look a bit short when bent. For some reason, they picked this weird light purple for his sash and wrist ands. It doesn't look too bad, but it's a weird choice. His face is a bit plain, seems to be a trend with these last figures I wrote about, but I guess it fits this calmer, more self-assured Gohan.

 The articulation is the same as with the other Dragon Stars, BUT, unlike Vegito this guy can crouch!! It's serviceable, y'know?

 I like this figure, I do... but I can't wait until Figuarts releases an Ultimate Gohan with the updated 3.0 body so that I can retire this guy.

Action Figure #114: DC Multiverse Wonder Woman

  I wonder why I didn't get to her sooner!

 Well, no DC collection is complete without a Wonder Woman, and I'm lucky to have found the Multiverse release, since I bought the first 6 inch Wonder Woman I found on a whim before I knew how Mattel lines worked!

 Using the updated Multiverse sculpts, this girl looks great. This is based on her Rebirth look, which, c'mon, New 52's red, blue and silver didn't look very appealing. The colors they picked for her battle outfit are all very appealing, and while I think her face is a bit too calm for Diana, at least she doesn't look as plain as Kitty Pryde!

 As for articulation, she's using the updated Multiverse model, so she's pretty much as good as a Marvel Legends, but with a useless teeny tiny ab crunch, but she can't twist her torso. She's quite taller than the Bucky-cap mold, as she should!

 She's a really great Wonder Woman figure. About the only things that she'd be lacking is a bit more articulation, but what she's got is good enough.

Action Figure #113: Marvel Legends Lasher

  It's gonna lash out!

 Did you know? Originally the Life Foundation Symbiotes didn't have names, so Lasher was what fans called him... and how Marvel eventually called him!

 This guy is on the Pizza Spidey Mold, which isn't the best for Lasher, but it's not completely out of place. I would've given him a basic Bucky-Cap mold, just like Carnage(Spoilers!) but this body isn't bad on him at all. He's made out of metallic green plastic that looks really cool, and he's got four ports on his back for the tendrils. Once in, the tendrils stay put, and while they look a bit wonky, they do set him apart from other figures.

 The articulation is, well, standard Pizza Spidey affair, and he's as tall as the Bucky-Cap mold.

 He's a good figure. He's not on the mold I would've used for him, but it's fine.

Action Figure #112: Batman Unlimited Batman

  Mattel sure had fun with all these different sub-lines of figures, huh?

 To think that when I was younger I had a ton of Batman action figures, all of them differently colored! Well, this was my first 6-inch Batman, because, I needed a Batman in my collection.

 The sculpt is great, it's based on the New 52 redesign, which I much prefer over his traditional trunks-over-pants look. As with other masked heroes in the DCUC lines, his head is a bit small. This edition of the figure is painted with a dark metallic grey, that is a bit... extra, for Batman, but I like the look.

 Need I say it? Same articulation as any other DCUC figure. He's also taller than the Bucky Cap mold.

 He's good, y'know? Looks really good among my other figures, I approve!

Action Figure #111: Marvel Legend Kitty Pryde(Juggernaut Wave)

  The pryde of the X-Men.

 Getting this Kitty Pryde figure was tough man! She was expensive everywhere, but somehow, I got her for $18 in an auction, lucky!

 It seems that Hasbro hates yellow, because my number one complaint about this figure is how orangey the yellow looks. Her headsculpt, for lack of a better word, also looks rather plain. They should've at least painted her lips or something, because it feels boring. That aside, I really like this female mold, it looks really good and it's tall enough.

 That said... the articulation leaves a bit to be desired on her arms. They are single-jointed and they don't have much range at all. There's not much she can do with them, sadly. At least, unlike the Scarlet Witch mold, this girl can stand with no issues!

 This Kitty Pryde figure is a bit boring, for lack of a better word. I mean, she looks like Kitty, she's wearing her outfit, but... they she looks so plain! Just using a brighter yellow would've helped a lot. Still, when you look at her you can tell that it's supposed to be Kitty, at least.
