You could say that she is legendary.
And now comes one of the characters whom I consider one of the biggest casualties of Disney's acquisition... Mara Jade. Mara Jade used to be Luke's wife, starting her life as an enemy. I won't lie and pretend like I know a lot about her, she was in some of the comics I owned based on the popular Thrawn trilogy... but I will tell you that what I knew about her, I loved. And well... she looks absolutely phenomenal. While her black catsuit might be a bit simple, it is quite detailed, and the brown and cream accents from her gloves and scarf, alongside her purple blade, make for a striking figure. So not only is the body sculpt badass, but they gave her a really nice looking head sculpt to boot. She comes with an alternate head, wearing the scarf and goggles, as well as a purple saber and a blaster gun.
And on the articulation front, even as a Series Black figure, she has Marvel Legends beat, showing that Hasbro just hates super heroines. She has single jointed arms, but double jointed legs. Her waist is on a hinge joint, but her ab crunch has a ball joint, and while she doesn't have butterfly joints... she doesn't really need them, her arms can pull a double handed grip just fine. She's quite honestly a lot of fun ti play with. She is quite a bit shorter than the Bucky Cap mold. And in case you cared, she is about a millimeter taller than her husband, Luke.
This is not just among my favorite Series Black figures, but she is among my favorite female figures. I think she looks badass, and the articulation makes her fun to play with.
