There are never enough Dicks... Graysons.
I've never wanted Dick Grayson to become Batman because the whole point of being Nightwing was coming out of Batman's shadow and becoming his own person... but man, the Dick/Damian run as Batman and Robin was a winner! So, for figure #450 who better than my favorite super hero, Dick Grayson!Well, I gotta say, for the most part I'm happy with how he came out. The costume looks just like Dick's take on Batman, with the shorter, armored gauntlets. In what seems to be an outlier for Mattel's Multiverse line, he comes with a somewhat narrow cloth cape that looks nice on him, as well as an alternate unmasked head, more on that later, as well as a neck accessory to simulate his mask lying over his shoulders. All in all, he is pretty neat.
You know what to expect from the Multiverse line, there's nothing new here. He is slightly taller than the Bucky cap mold.
My one caveat with the figure is the unmasked head... it IS the one I will be using, but... He has this dead look on his eyes, and I'm not sure if Dick should be this tanned. They also painted his lips with a darker color, which makes him look even weirder... specially because the masked head sculpt doesn't have the painted lips!
He is a great looking Batman, that, while not perfect, satisfied me. I think he is better than this line's Batman because Dick can actually use his shoulders thanks to the soft goods cape. The unmasked head sculpt, however, could've used more work.
