Easy, breezy, beautiful: Covergirl. Oh wait, this is not a paid ad!
The moment I saw Courtney Krieger AKA Cover Girl announced I knew I had to get her. I don't think I've seen her in any of the movies I watched, or any of the animated series, but something about her design looked so much fun to I took the plunge and ordered her alongside Flint.Cover Girl is an interesting design because she seems to be a cross of a mechanic, a brawler and a sharpshooter, just judging from her accessories, but it all helps make her a fun action figure. Her outfit seems fairly standard fare for a military figure, and I think she came out looking great. The details is good, the sculpt looks nice, the few paint apps there are, are well done... There's not much to complain here. She comes with a pistol and a holster for it, a Rifle which I don't think she has a good grip on, a hammer, which I'll probably use with my Mafia/Maggia figures, a wrench and... two heads with two tops: Loose hair or a hat. You can swap pieces, and I did, because I think the smiling face looks better with the mechanic's hat, and the more neutral expression looks better with her hair loose. That said, much like other figure like it, like the Fire and Ice lady and Vampirella... these top pieces look loose on top, so at this precise moment I'm gluing down her hair on her head. I know I won't ever swap them, so I'm cool with it. She also comes with ab ase.
Ah yes, the bald women of action figures. Another one joins the fray!
One of the best things about the Classified line is that females and males get the same standarized articulation. So she has butterfly joints, double jointed elbows and knees swivels on her biceps, thighs and boots, as well as drop-down hips and ball jointed diaphragm and waist. It all works to help her pose very nicely. She is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.
Well, another fun figure from the Classified series. I think her main gun should've been something that she could get a better handle on, but other than that, she's pretty good.
