Action Figure #497: Star Wars The Black Series General Grievious

Dual wielding? A thing of the past, this guy is a quad wielder!
Probably one of the most iconic and shocking parts in Revenge of the Sith was when General Grievious displayed his four arms, all of them wielding a light saber. Not that it lasted very long against Obi-Wan!
Well, sculpting this guy probably wasn't easy, as he is made up of various, long pieces of metal. Whichever the case, he came out great... at the cost of feeling a bit fragile, because most of his limbs are long and thing. He comes with a soft goods cape, a blaster, and four light sabers. And they spared no expense, all four sabers have different hilts!
Engineering this probably wasn't easy, Both arms on either side are connected on different ball joints to a butterfly-like joint that is also connected to the torso via a ball joint. This alone gives our favorite cyborg a ton of articulation, but then, consider that all four arms have swivels before and after the elbow-joint. His waist is on a ball joint, but there's not much range backward and forward. The legs are an ball jointed hips, but they don't have much range to the sides. Still, the knees are double jointed, and there's another joint before the claw-feet. All things considered, there's a ton of articulation and ways to pose him. I read that it was hard to get him to stand up straight... but I had no issues posing him, and it was so much fun! He is a tiny bit taller than Bucky Cap.
His cape has four pouches for his sabers!
Each pair of arms can be joined together via socket-and-peg. The joined arms have more limited range, but it can still be played with.
I think this General Grievious figure is a thing of beauty. The Black series team knocked it out of the park. The only big issue is how fragile his joints feel, but it was unavoidable with how slim his limbs are.
