Action Figure #388: Marvel Legends Ka-Zar(Zabu Wave)

  Marvel's answer to Tarzan.

Ka-Zar has had more than a few run-ins with Spidey so I've been looking forwards to owning this guy. With him and Zabu having new figures, now we only need a new Shanna the She-Devil
Well, he is a naked guy, so how much can you really do with him, right? He comes with 3 different set of hands, and the ones he uses to handle his spear and knife are... trigger hands. Why was he given trigger hands? Beats me. I'm not too fond of his headsculpt, it looks a bit too 80's comic book manly, while I always imagined Ka-Zar to be a bit more youthful. His furry skirt is actually made of rubber plastic and hangs over his waist, but it's placed there very securely and won't fall any time soon. It has a holder on its back in which you can place either his knife or his spear.
The guy is built on Vulcan's mold, so he has all the articulation you'd expect from the buck. The only issue you may come around is that spinning his torso will bend the rubbery skirt, which is a bit disappointing. The arms were a bit gummy, but not as bad as Jack O'Lantern's, so I'm not too worried about them.
This is the problem with the skirt.
And since he uses Vulcan buck's... you get that split on his forearm, which I don't mind on spandex-wearing heroes, but it's a bit harder to ignore on flesh.
Kazar is alright. Some things could've been done better, such as better engineering on the skirt, using other forearms and giving him proper gripping hands, but that aside I'm satisfied with the figure.
