Action Figure #387: Marvel Legends Red Widow

So... that makes her the communist widow?

Well, the Red Widow is another character I know nothing about, but I thought she looked kinda cool and that she would look really neat next to Daredevil and Elektra.
And, well, she looks cool. She has this badass cape that looks really cool on her, and she comes with the same weapon as King Daredevil. She has some belts and leg straps, but, sadly, they are not sculpted and just hang loose over her... which kinda sucks, c'mon Hasbro, you've been doing such a good job at getting rid of the loose straps. Apparently, her right should comes out of her cape, but for the figure instead of punching in a hole, they just molded the shoulder onto the game, which ends up looking a bit silly. And, y'know, even though I know nothing about the character, I do think that the character looks very badass.
She's on the Shriek mold, so pinless joints and the usual articulation that comes with the figure... except that her cape let's her pose only slightly ever so much more than their recent Emma Frost. As an action figure, this is a joke. You can barely do anything with her arms, she's never going to strike any cool or dynamic poses like this, and taking off the cloak doesn't help one bit because she ends up looking stupid
Look, plastic capes are fine, they are, but some characters just can't work as action figures without a cloth cape, and this is one such case. I really hate this action figure, which is a shame because I did like her design, but she barely works as an action figure.
