He ain't Deadpool... I think.
It was high time I got myself a Deathstroke figure. There were plenty of options, but while I wanted one in the six inch scale, I also wanted something more modern than DCUC. If New 52 did something right, it was most of the redesigns. Let's just ignore Lobo's, Green Arrow's and Nightwing's!As per usual with DC Collectibles, the sculpt is phenomenal. He's got a ton of details everywhere, from the scales to all the straps and thingies adorning him. He is a badass looking figure, just the Deathstroke my collection needed. As with other DC collectibles, he is very tall, on the upper range of the six inch scale, but him being a literal super human... looks perfect like this. He comes with a sword, a knife and a gun... sadly, the gun and sword holsters are terrible, so his weapons keep falling off... and his hands can't get a good grip on his weapons either.
The articulation is better than you'd expect from the line. In addition to the ball jointed shoulders, he has bicep swivels and thigh swivels. You can turn his gauntlets and his feet have hinges too, but even better, the pauldrons can go up, thus allowing him to raise his arms! Sadly, his legs still can't move to the sides.
As mentioned above, the pauldrons can go upwards!
The gun holster is horrible, that can't hold his gun!
His hands can't get a good grip on his weapons, the gun even has a molded trigger, but no trigger finger!
.... until I gave him one. Now he holds the gun much better than before.
Due to his size and bulk, posing him alongside his arch enemy Nightwing is so much fun, particularly Mafex's!
The articulation is still subpar, but it's probably the best DC Collectibles figure I own. Honestly, he looks amazing, and I've had fun with him despite his various issues.
