Action Figure #606: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Putty(Green Ranger vs. Putty Patrol)

 Rita was a kid at heart, playing with silly putty.

 Oh! A Putty, the lowest of the low when it came to enemies. Getting a Putty wasn't something I really cared for, but he came bundled with my Tommy, and even then, this Green Ranger was cheaper than other alternatives!

 So, very simple design, as they were meant to be mobs for the Rangers to beat up by the dozens. The sculpt is fine and dandy, but I think they should've cast him in darker grey. The body should be as dark as his boots, and the boots should be a shade darker than it is now. Other than that, he is a great sculpt. He comes with two fists and two weaponized hands, since I got him used I got one of each, and the weaponized limb looks fantastic!

 Being a generic mook they could have cheapened out with him... but they didn't! He is as articulated as any ranger, which means a hinged waist, a ball jointed ab crunch, double jointed elbows and knees, swivels on the biceps, thighs and boots. No drop down hips, thankfully! He is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.

 The Putty has no right being this good, but he is! Great unique pieces, great articulation... he is a nice addition to my PR collection.

Action Figure #605: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Green Ranger Fighting Spirit(Green Ranger vs. Putty Patrol)

 The wrong shade of green.

  Look, fact of the matter is... the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger has gone up in price a disgustingly amount, so if the only Green Ranger I can get is the Fighting Spirit Version... I will.

 Fighting Spirit is the name of a Dino Rangers episode in which the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger reappeared... wearing a costume full of mistakes. Silver paint on the top of his helmet, which shouldn't be there, as well as his dagger holster being white, instead of black, and on the wrong side. Look, it was the only Green Ranger I could find at a reasonable price! Aside from the accuracy to the errors, he looks great, and I love the gold they used for his shield. He comes with an alternate head, his dagger, two alternate hands, the evil sword and an effect piece... but I got him used, so none of that for me. Ah well, he can share daggers with Drakkon!

 Same articulation as the rest of the LC figures without the drop-down hips, which makes him a lot of fun to play with. This means a hinged waist, a ball jointed ab crunch, double jointed elbows and knees, swivels on the biceps, thighs and boots. He is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.

 While not my favorite version of the Gree Ranger, he still looks really nice, and he'd be a 9.0 had I gotten the accessories with him.

Action Figure #604: Star Wars The Black Series K-2SO

 A Robot with a beer belly.

 It's about time I started rounding up the Rogue One team! Now we get K-2SO, whom I kinda had a beef with because all his lines seemed to be jokes straight out of a Marvel Movie.

 This is the very first K-2SO release, meaning no funny eyes. He has a funny design, with a barrel shaped torso but very lanky, thin limbs. It all adds up to him cutting an interesting figure. The sculpt looks really good, and he can double as a security droid, like the ones Cal Kestis fights!

 His articulation is interesting. He has single jointed elbows and knees that can bend backwards and forwards, as well as turn 360 degrees. His wrists and ankles are hinged, adding more articulation, and his shoulders and hips can raise to the sides a little bit. His ab crunch is ball jointed, but it works mostly as a swivel, and his neck has double ball joints which lets you play around with his head. His hips are very squeaky and his shoulders very tight, but they are workable. I got him a few days ago and I have been playing with him almost nonstop because of how much fun he is to pose around.

 Considering I am not the biggest Rogue One fan... I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun this guy is!

Action Figure #603: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Beast Morphers Yellow Ranger

 Future so bright her shades are golden.

 There's nothing like a Yellow Ranger to brighten one's day, so here we have Beast Morphers Yellow Ranger. As stated on Blaze, I used to own the cheaper alternative of this figure, so I'm happy to have her in my hands again!

 She's honestly a fun design. The yellow, silver and black color scheme is quite appealing, and I love the doodads on her chest and arms. So, yeah, she has a pretty interesting design. Much like Blaze, her elbows are fully cast in yellow, which breaks up the silver paint on her arms. She comes with a pair of alternate hands, an unmasked head, her sword and an effect for it. 

 Articulation with Lightning Collection is pretty standardized, so nothing to add here. She has drop down hips, and the belt-skirt piece limits her waist hinge a lot. She's a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.

 Yeah, she's alright. Nothing worth writing home about, but a good figure nontheless.

Action Figure #602: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Blazing Phoenix Ranger

 She's got legs.

 Well, Ryu was so good that I simply couldn't skip on Chun Li the Blazing Phoenix Ranger. Originating from the same mobile fighting game, Chun Li is now a blue ranger, and thankfully Hasbro decided to make her into plastic!

 Much like Ryu before her, her Power Ranger design is phenomenal, as she looks like Chun Li AND a Power Ranger, a really cool looking one. Hasbro knocked it out of the park with the sculpt, a lot of unique pieces were done just for her. Plus, she is a female Ranger with her very own shield. I feel like the strands of cloth that come out of her pompons are a bit silly... but thankfully mine broke as I spun them around her helmet, so do beware... but I do think she looks better this way. She comes with an alternate pair of hands, a stand for her effects, two different projectile effects and a glorious Hundred Kick effect. All in all, a fantastic package. The only issue I have is with the neck. One half is completely white and the other is blue with a white rhombus. It looks wrong.

 Same articulation as the other female rangers. Double jointed elbows and knees, butterfly joints, ball jointed ab crunch, hinged waist and swivels on the biceps, thighs and boots. Sadly, drop down hips as well. The only issue is that the belt-piece prevents you from using her waist hinge, but other than that, she articulates beautifully. She is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.

 Well, another brilliant figure from the Street Fighter Crossover. I find the Ryu design a bit cooler, and while she does look better with the broken pompons... they shouldn't have broken in the first place!

Action Figure #601: Star Wars The Black Series Sergeant Kreel

 They have lightsabers now?!

 Sergeant Kreel is one of the novelties from the Disney-era Star Wars, he's a deadly Storm Trooper Sergeant that wields a lightsaber despite not being force sensitive. He has only appeared in the comics, so far, and I thought he'd be an interesting addition to my collection.

 So, there's this thing about Kreel... he hasn't had the most consistent depiction ever. Sometimes the pouch on his right leg is also held by straps to the thigh, sometimes it isn't. One time, the red pauldron as on his other side, and sometimes the black parts on his sides have white rectangles... like it does on the art they chose for the box. So he does look like the average depiction of Kreel, just not the one on the boxart 'cause he is missing the white rectangles. Details aside, he is a cool looking Storm Trooper, with a few extra black pouches on his arms and legs, as well as a black backpack. Sadly, these aren't sculpted or glued onto the guy, so they may fall loose, which is a bit lame. He comes with his green lightsaber as well as a blaster gun. Sadly, both Saber and Gun are meant for the right hand, because the left hand can't get a good grip on either.

 Kreel was made on the new Storm Trooper buck, so he articulates as well as any of them. The red pauldron connects to the neck, so you can just spin it to get the full range of movement on his arm. He is just a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.

 Kreel is a really cool looking Storm Trooper, nothing more, nothing else. It's a bit of a shame that his pouches must hang loose... but, hey, he has a lightsaber!

Action Figure #600: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Red Ranger Remastered

 Red with envy.... I man, with a shield!

 For number #600 We have the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger(Remastered), a figure that almost got away. I had it pre-ordered but one thing led to another, and I decided I didn't want to collect Power Rangers and thus I cancelled my pre-order. And, now, its price has sky rocketed, but I managed to snag him at a barely reasonable price.

 The only thing cooler than the Green Ranger is the Red Ranger sporting the Dragon Shield! And, yeah, he looks badass! The Armor and arm-bads are removable. Hey, they needed you to buy both him and Tommy, so the remastered Tommy came without his shield. That said, this Jason doesn't come with his dagger nor its scabbard, which is dumb since it was the Dagger that granted Jason the shield. Capitalism aside, this is the coolest version of the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and I love how the Dragon Shield looks on him. He comes with his dagger blaster in all three forms, two alternate pair of hands, his morpher and two neat red energy effects. Shockingly, he is the only remastered Ranger to come without his unmasked head.

 Same articulation as the last batch of Lightning collection figures. Double jointed elbows and knees, hinged waist, ball jointed ab crunch, butterfly joints, boots, thighs and bicep swivels. Also, the dreaded drop down hips. He is just a tiny bit shorter than the Bucky Cap buck.

 As an action figure? He is really cool and fun to play with, the energy effects are really neat and everything... but, c'mon, he is missing the Dragon Dagger, which makes him inaccurate to the source material, and he is also missing his unmasked head. So, yeah, he is great, but he is missing a few bits.
