Action Figure #567: Anime Heroes Sagittarius Aiolos

The best Zodiac Sign by far!

Did you know that Masami Kurumada was a Sagittarius himself? No wonder Sagittarius Aiolos was the most morally upstanding Saint, and Seiya would inherit Sagittarius cloth! Me being a Sagy as well, I've always liked these Saints and this cloth!
As usual with the anime heroes, the sculp itself is really nice. The details are all there, and I really dig the shiny gold plastic that the figure's armor is cast in. But there's no paint anywhere to highlight the details in the armor. Even the anime would use more brownish yellows to add details to the armor. It makes the figure look more like a toy than a collectible. He comes with two alternate hands.... but without his iconic and signature bow. Boo
Articulation follows Anime Heroes' blueprint, which would be good enough, on paper. Double joined elbows and knees, with pretty good range on both, a ball jointed waist that goes a bit to waste due to the skirt piece. Get used to his torse coming apart from the waist as you spin it around.
The biggest issue is the skirt. I made two cuts on the sides, and it does help to make him kick forwards, but it's still not good enough.
His pauldrons are made of hard plastic, so this is as high as he'll ever raise his arms. Disappointing! He is a bit taller than Bucky cap.
Usually, Anime Heroes are good figures with poor paint. This one also suffers from horribly limited articulation, but I guess he at least looks sorta nice.
