Grunts and shouting, I can speak that language!
While not my favorite society in Star Wars, I did use to own a Kenner Tusken Raider way back when, and I remember I lost his robes pretty quickly, but I loved his bandaged look underneath. So, out of nostalgia alone I knew that eventually I'd be getting my hands on one of these guys!He looks pretty dope. While not fully bandaged below his robes, unlike the Kenner classic, he has wrapped boots and forearms, which look really rad. His headsculpt is very detailed too. He also comes with a soft-goods poncho-like coat. It looks a bit.... as if it will unravel at any moment, but it fits the look. He comes with his Gaffi Stick, as well as three different possible parts for it, as well as a sniper rifle.
His elbows are single jointed while his legs have swivels and have double jointed knees. No butterfly joints for him, but his waist is ball jointed. His skirt is cut at both sides, so it doesn't restrict his legs too much... that said, soft-good would've been better. The bend on his elbow reaches 90 degrees, so it's decent but not the best.
The one big issue is the hinge on his hand. It should go up and down instead of left and right. Thus, getting good looking shooting positions out of him is a bit hard. He is almost as tall as Bucky Cap.
The Tusken Raider is a decent figure that with a few tweaks could be much better. That said, as a generic enemy..... he is good enough.
