Not to be confused with the Death Troopers.
I first discovered the Dark Trooper through the Star Wars Galaxies mobile game, and he was a badass. No, really, this unit counts as a multiple units in one and packs quite a punch, literally, so I had to own him. Had to. He was one of my favorite Dark Side units after all!Having him on hand... I don't know if he is the most menacing robot ever. I'm not faulting the sculptors, I blame the original design. Aside from that, the sculpt is just lovely, there's a lot of mechanical cables and thingies that do look very nice, so they did work on the guy, and I think it looks good. He comes with two fists, of course I equipped him with one since his punch is just so overpowered on the mobile game, a finger trigger hand and a cupping hand for his shotgun. He also comes with two fire effects for his foot.
Be careful with the wrist pegs, these things are tiny.
Articulation is really fun, he was made like the K2 bot, so his knees, ankles, wrists and elbows are little spheres you can turn around and get weird, mechanical, poses out of him. He also has swivels on his thighs and a relatively decent ball jointed ab crunch. Overall, he is as articulated as a bot like him needs too. He is as tall as Bucky Cap.
I like the guy. He is nothing special, mind you, but he is a fun enemy robot to own. I don't think they could've done much more with him besides making him even larger.
