Winter is here.... and it is these figures.
Well, I'm a glutton for punishment, so I decided to get a couple more figures from this line, so let's start with the White Walker, shall we?And just as I was equipping this bony bastard with his spear... it broke!
And, because these figures and their clear joints are garbage, his wrist broke as I posed him. And, the cherry on top.... is that he came with two right biceps, as can be seen above. No wonder Funko Pops aren't articulated....
Despite how bad the quality control for these figures was, there's no denying that all the sculpts are brilliant, except the faces, and this is no exception. His blue skin is accentuated by a whitewash that highlights all the boney details. For a change, maybe because it wasn't based off of an actor's face, the head sculpt is actually really good, for a change. Even his only accessory, his spear, is very detailed, ending on a transparent, uneven, icicle end.
Legs have double jointed knees and swivels on the thighs. Arms are single jointed, with a bend that is just shy of 90 degrees. His ab crunch is on a ball joint that works more like a swivel. He is a bit taller than Bucky Cap.
As with the rest of these figures... if they weren't so brittle, they would've been SO good. But these terrible Quality Checks makes the whole line terrible.
