The Sequel's Trilogy butt-monkey somehow returned. In action figure form.
General Hux was one of the most memorable parts about the Sequel Trilogy, even if his characterization wasn't the most consistent. There are two Hux figures, one with the hat and one without it, which only came packaged with a few figured I didn't care for, so I managed to snatch him loose for a few bucks! This is a good looking Hux figure. The body resembles that of the Imperial Officers such as Tarkin or Thragg, but all in black and with a coat on top. He looks evil, even if outside of the first movie he was relegated to comedy relief, so I dig that. The head sculpt is an accurate representation of the actor, and he comes with a small blaster gun.
He has the usual articulation of the line, with double jointed knees and thigh swivels. He has no bicep swivels and, sadly, his single jointed elbows reach just shy of a 90 degree bend. Lastly, he has a ball jointed waist. The lower end of his jacket is made out of soft plastic, so he has good range with his legs. He is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.
Not the greatest action figure ever, but he is a good representation of Hux, and I'm glad that he is in my collection.
