So... does he count as green-skinned?
I almost got myself the Diamond Select figure, since he was
even larger than Hasbro's... But then I thought... what if I got ML's Hulk and then Diamond Select's
Abomination so that he can tower over Hulk? Well, here we are.
The sculpt is.... well, Diamond Select is all
about the sculpt, and just look at this guy! There's a TON of detail everywhere, his skin has texture EVERYWHERE, and his paint job includes darker shading to highlight the amazing details
everywhere. This figure looks glorious, and massive.
But the articulation is
garbage. The arms have very little range, and the single-jointed knees and elbows don't help. He's got a waist swivel, and while it looks like the legs have swivel... they are not swivels. This guy is meant to be looked at, not
posed.
As an action figure he kinda sucks.... but, c'mon, he works fantastic when battling the Hulk, just tray to get him in a punchy pose while Hulk does the contortionism.
