Action Figure #706: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Dino Thunder Red Ranger

Flames and Dinosaur themes... is this a Dragon?

While I never watched Abaranger or Dino Thunder, the previous DT figures I bought lead me to realize something... these designs slap! So it was only a matter of time before I got the Dino Thunder Red Ranger. Thing is, this guy has gone up in price A LOT, but I was lucky enough to win an auction for the three basic rangers(Spoilers!), albeit missing a few accessories. And I'll take it, because I paid as much for it as I would've paid just for the complete Red Ranger!
As I said before... I really like these designs, and the Red Ranger is no exception. I think he looks really cool and he came out great, as the red, gold and white are quite eye-catching. The helmet design is pretty simple... but effective! He comes with a staff, two hands(I'm missing one!), a blaster, an unmasked helmet, a sword and a flame effect. I'll come out and admit that I don't think this flame effect is very badass looking, but I could probably get a better use out of it with another figure.
All the standards the line is known for are here. Double jointed elbows and knees, swivels on his boots, thighs and biceps, a hinged waist, a ball-jointed ab crunch and butterfly joints. It's fun to play with him, and all his joints feel very smooth. He is slightly shorter than Bucky Cap.
I really loved this figure, and I have been playing a lot with him, I've really no major complaints when it comes to him.
