Action Figure #697: Marvel Select Titanium Man

Titanium beats Iron any day of the week.

Well, if the Legends team won't release or re-release more Iron Man villains, I might as well go with the Marvel Select route... even if they went bankrupt a few months ago. I could've gotten the old Marvel Legends Titanium Man release, but that guy was too outdated and too small, but this? This is what I'm talking about!
Unlike their Juggernaut and their Abomination, the Titanium Man isn't as detailed since he is not textured, however... simplicity works amazing for this guy. Besides, they got the most that they could've gotten out of the design. He's also painted with a beautiful, shiny metallic dark green that makes him look very sleek. He comes with two pair of hands, a set of fists and a set of grabby hands, as well as an alternate unmasked head. There's a small issue, that might only be present on my figure, in which the belt isn't correctly aligned with the crotch.
This is the most articulated Marvel Select figure I've ever seen. He has single jointed elbows and knees that reach 90 degrees each, as well as swivels on his biceps and thighs... that are kinda superfluous, since the elbows and knees are single jointed, and thus, can be rotated. He has a ball jointed ab crunch for some rotating action, and his skirt is made out of very soft plastic, so it doesn't hamper his kicks. His foots are on ball joints that allows them to pivot, and his wrists can turn and are horizontally hinged. The head lies on a very generous ball joint too. He is massively taller than Bucky Cap, being a few millimeters shorter than Abomination. If you read the comic book that introduced him, or the awful Marvel Heroes 60's show episode... you'd know that this size is PERFECT for a Marvel Legends Iron Man.
This is the best Marvel Select figure I own. It has fantastic detailing, but also a serviceable level of articulation, which is something I can't say about their Abomination and Juggernaut. Fantastic figure.
