Thankfully he doesn't blow.
So... I've tried, but I don't like a lot about G. I. Joe, but, geez, sometimes they release some really appealing figures, like this guy Blowtorch. I know nothing about him, but he looked really dope with the yellow color scheme and fire effects... so I had to own him.Considering I bought this guy based on how cool I thought he was alone... well, he delivers. He is a very bulky figure. He looks like an evil Fireman, due to the mustard, loose-fitting suit and the red armor overlay, so I'm guessing he is a Cobra.... nevermind, just looked it up, he is a Joe! The entire sculpt is filled with details everywhere, and I'm pretty sure he was sculpted from scratch too. He comes with three fire effects for the flamethrower, a flamethrower, a backpack that hasn't got the snuggest fit ever but it works, a cable to connect the backpack with the flamethrower, a pistol, a helmet and a gas mask.
The issue I've notices with the flamethrower, is that the little peg the cable connects to is getting stressed depending on how I pose the figure, which is a bit disappointing since aiming poses will probably stress it.
Articulation matches Marvel Legends. Double jointed elbows and knees, swivels on his biceps and thighs, butterfly joints, a hinged ab crunch and a ball jointed waist. He is a fun figure to play with, no doubt. And he is almost as tall as Bucky Cap.
He is a fun figure. He looks tough, and I love the color scheme. It's figures like this one that make me wish I liked Military figures a bit more.
