Action Figure #655: Marvel Legends Daken(Mini-Comic Wave)

Mini Wolverine comes with a Mini Comic.

Daken is not a character I love, but it slowly grew on me, seeing him interacting with Johnny Storm, Skaar and the whole Deadpool/Wolverine/Daken crossover as I read his solo title, so I'd say that I like him. I don't love him, but I like him... so I've been waiting for this figure for a long, long time... even if it's in his Dark Wolverine garb.
For starters... yeah, this ain't my favorite look for the guy. I kinda wish we had gotten his shirtless look, but at this point I'll take what I can get. This is the look he wore during his stint in the Dark Avengers, and... yeah, it's accurate to that point. You can see the tattoo on his left arm, which is pretty neat, and he comes with an unmasked head which is the one I'll be using. He also comes with two three-clawed hands, a two-clawed hand and a gripping hand so that he can use the dull mini-comic accessory. I don't see myself ever posing my figures with it, but... well, it's better than nothing. The one gripe is that they didn't manage to match the color on the softer plastic knees with the rest of his legs.
The guy is as articulated as most marvel legends. Swivels on his thighs, biceps and waist, a hinged ab crunch, double jointed elbows and knees and butterfly joints. It all adds up to a very playable figure. The shoulders seem to be a bit too tight on the butterfly joints, as this torso was made for smaller shoulders, but it's not horrible. He is a bit taller than his father and just a hair taller than Bucky Cap.
So, for Hasbro's first attempt at the character I would've preferred them going for a look that is more unique to Daken than him impersonating his father, but I've waited for so long that I'll take what I can get. I appreciate the extra hands to pose him with, and he looks pretty good and plays nicely too. Yeah, he is a good addition to my collection and will fit the void until we get a proper Daken as himself.
