We are gender swapping Green rangers now?
I could sit here and tell you how much I hate gender swaps... but... this is the
Dino Fury Green Ranger the very first female Green Ranger, although Sentai beat them first with the Green Ninninger. But really, we rarely get female Green Rangers, and to think that we at least got a single female green before the line was discontinued... Yeah, I'll take her.
As I wrote before about the Dino Fury Red Ranger, I
LOVE this design. While this was another Dinosaur season, these suits look more like Knights than anything else, and they are also asymmetrical, which makes them look SO
cool. So not only is this the only green female Ranger Hasbro released, but she is also
badass. My one complaint is that the green is a bit.. lighter than I would've liked, it looks a bit close to turquoise, which is a very minor nitpick, and it might be true to the Show that I didn't watch(
Sue me), but still. She comes with a sword, two gripping hands, two open hands, an unmasked head and a yellow energy effect.
Articulation is what we've grown to expect of the latter releases. Butterfly joints, a ball jointed ab crunch, a hinged waist, double jointed elbows and knees, as well as drop down hips, with
sturdy plastic, swivels on the biceps, thighs, boots and... and on her gauntlets as well! Might this be a first for the line?
Maybe! She is a bit shorter than Bucky Cap.
Honestly, a really nice Power Ranger Figure. I love the look, the articulation is great and all her joints are very smooth... Figures like this one is why it makes me so sad that Hasbro discontinued the line.
